ParkingMyCar stands out as the first app to provide large-scale reservation and payment services for both structured parking (public and private) and surface parking (blue lines). The platform offers long-term parking services at over 50 Italian ports and airports including major locations such as Milan Malpensa and Linate, Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino, Naples Capodichino, and many others. Additionally, it serves the vicinity of key railway stations across the country.

How the App Works

The services are encapsulated in a streamlined and intuitive app structure that enables users to book and pay for parking with just a few taps on their smartphones.

Upon opening the app, a user-friendly pop-up presents two main service options:

• “Search and book a parking spot”
• “Pay for blue line parking”

Booking Structured Parking

Selecting the first option directs users to the “Book Your Parking” screen, where they can enter their city or specific address for the search. Users can specify the start and end times of their stay and the type of vehicle (car, motorcycle, camper, van). Once the search is initiated, the system will geolocate available parking structures for the indicated dates. Users can then select their preferred parking location and complete their reservation. This functionality can also be accessed through the “Book” menu option.

Payment for Blue Line Parking

<pIf users opt for “Pay for blue line parking,” they will be redirected to a straightforward screen where they can enter their vehicle's location by typing in the address or using the area code indicated on nearby parking meters. The app also provides options to end a session early or extend it as needed, accompanied by notifications when the parking period is nearing its conclusion. This feature ensures users only pay for the actual time parked. It is similarly accessible from the “Parking Meter” menu option.

In both structured parking scenarios and blue line payment situations, users have convenient access to manage their reservations through the “My Parking” screen, which displays ongoing, upcoming, and completed bookings.

Manage Your Profile and Payment Methods

Within the “Profile” menu option, users can:

• Register or log into their personal account.
• Manage payment methods: Users can add debit/credit cards and oversee their rechargeable wallet; details display available balance for top-ups and allow setting a preferred payment method (wallet or card).
• Add one or more vehicles and designate a default vehicle for quicker future bookings by specifying license plate number, vehicle type, and model.
• Adjust display settings (light or dark mode).
